Job summary

K-Scale LLC is seeking a reliable technician to service scales and measure voltages. You will travel town to town, calibrating scales from small gram units to truck scales, and lift 50 lbs daily. Overnight stays may occur (0–2 nights per week).

Training is provided. You must maintain a good driving record and be prepared to obtain a Class B CDL later. Work occurs in both clean and dusty environments at grain elevators and manufacturing plants; driving is a core part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience with voltmeters and AC/DC recognition.
• Able to lift 50 lb daily and perform field calibration.
• Willingness to travel town to town with overnight stays 0–2 nights per week.
• Must start CDL‑B or work toward it; higher pay if already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate scales from gram to truck scales.
• Work at customer sites like grain elevators and manufacturing plants.
• Overnight travel 0–2 nights per week with expenses covered.
• Driving is a daily requirement; training provided.
• Use tools such as a wrench and bottle jack on site.
