Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Indianapolis, IN to perform clean-up and transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You’ll load/unload tanks, inspect equipment, and handle confined-space work, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires driving a commercial vehicle, leading small projects, and maintaining documentation. A valid CDL, OSHA adherence, and a strong safety mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience or completion of Technician I Reworld training.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Combination of regional and at-home daily.
• Must complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts with minimal supervision.
• Use forklift, skid loader and vacuum equipment for spills and related tasks.
• Transport waste by commercial vehicle following DOT regulations.
• Inspect truck equipment and secure cargo during transport.
• Lead small daily confined space projects, coordinating with Manager and customers.
• Complete documentation such as manifests and driver logs.

About the role

TheFieldServiceTechnicianIIis responsible forthe clean-up and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. FieldServiceTechnician IIis expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry.

PositionResponsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, hand trucks,forkliftsand power tools with minimal direct supervisionin accordance withcompany policies and procedures as well as OSHArequirements.
• Use of forklift, skid loader and specialty vacuum equipment and/or other equipment as neededperformwork activities related to chemical, oil, and water spills.
• Driving a commercial vehicle to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOTregulations.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas,oiland water. Secures cargo prior to and during transport.
• Leads team onsmalldaily confined space projects, communicatingverbally andelectronicallywith the Manager and onsitecustomers.
• Complete documentation including manifests and driver logs.
• Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic, electricaltoolsand other tools as needed
• Acts as a professional representative ofReworldwhile acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site.
• Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools.
• Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
• Maintain a neat and clean working environment.

• Combinationof both regional and at home daily
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check

Pay Transparency

The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 20.72 - 27.60 USD per hour
