Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Field Services Technician/General Laborer to clean up and transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Responsibilities include loading/unloading tanks, inspecting equipment, and performing confined space entries, while operating pressure washers, forks, and power tools per OSHA and company policies.

The role requires driving, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 25% with lifting up to 50 pounds; respirator fit testing is required.

About the role

The Field Services Technician/General Laborer is responsible for the clean-up and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. General Laborer is expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry.

The General Laborer will operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements, and all local, state and federal laws.

Position Responsibilities

• Handling, packaging and transportation of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
• Use of hydro blast equipment, forklift, skid loader and specialty vacuum equipment and/or other equipment as needed.
• Completion of critical path documentation; manifests, driver logs, job summary, permits, etc.
• Communicate with Project Manager and on-site customers
• Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools hand tools and/or other tools as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Effectively work in a team setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience, preferred.
• Possess 40 HR HAZWOP certification.

• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend or twist for extended periods of time.

Pay Transparency

The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $41,885.00 - $57,525.00 . For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
