Job summary

Nucor Corporation is seeking a field installation professional for the Nucor Insulated Panel Group. The role requires hands-on IMP installation experience, travel up to 60% across multiple western states, and the ability to perform on-site diagnostics and training for installers and contractors.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, be comfortable with working at heights, and ensure safety compliance on all projects, contributing to the company’s safety culture and customer

Responsibilities

• Perform job-site analysis and troubleshooting for NIPG products.
• Build relationships with customers and provide installation guidance.
• Deliver installation training to installers/contractors.
• Conduct warranty inspections and prepare detailed field reports.
• Discuss code compliance and installation effects on IMP products.
• Coordinate detailing and installation processes for building envelopes.
• Report observations and maintain clear records.
• Collaborate with peers and support management to drive safety.
• Uphold Nucor safety policies and housekeeping standards.
• Support company goals and demonstrate professional business etiquette.

Basic Job Functions:

• Job-site analysis, trouble shooting, and contractor support for NIPG products including quality assurance, product claims and building diagnostics.
• Manages the customer contact and develops relationships with customers to provide information or instruction on detailing and installation practices for NIPG products.
• Deliver installation training for installers/contractors.
• Conduct thorough warranty inspections and develop detailed and effective field reports.
• Ability to speak to code compliance and has the ability to see cause and effect of installation process and the effects on the IMP product.
• Understanding of detailing and installation processes required to make a successful connection of the IMP to the building envelope.
• Communicates and reports observations and maintain records.
• Working with peers and supporting management in a way that leads to a culture of best outcome for NIPG
• Support the goals of Nucor.
• Demonstrate courteous and professional business etiquette.
• Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs to heights of 100ft or more.
• Ability to work at heights for long hours and be comfortable walking on roofs.
• Must be located in one of the following states Washington, Idaho, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico
• Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness and means to travel 60% of the time.
• Previous hands-on field experience with IMP installation (2yr. min.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in D365
