Job summary

Nucor is hiring a field installation specialist to support IMP product installation and quality assurance. You will analyze job sites, troubleshoot issues, and advise contractors on detailing and installation practices for IMP products, including warranty inspections and reporting.

The role requires travel up to 60% and the ability to work from various job sites across participating states. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2+ years of hands-on IMP installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Job-site analysis, trouble shooting, and contractor support for IMP products including quality assurance and building diagnostics.
• Manage customer contact and develop relationships to provide information on detailing and installation practices for IMP products.
• Deliver installation training for installers/contractors.
• Conduct warranty inspections and develop detailed field reports.
• Speak to code compliance and analyze installation effects on IMP products.
• Understand detailing and installation processes for successful building envelope connections.
• Report observations and maintain records.
• Collaborate with peers and management to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Support Nucor goals and maintain professional business etiquette.

Basic Job Functions:

• Job-site analysis, trouble shooting, and contractor support for NIPG products including quality assurance, product claims and building diagnostics.
• Manages the customer contact and develops relationships with customers to provide information or instruction on detailing and installation practices for NIPG products.
• Deliver installation training for installers/contractors.
• Conduct thorough warranty inspections and develop detailed and effective field reports.
• Ability to speak to code compliance and has the ability to see cause and effect of installation process and the effects on the IMP product.
• Understanding of detailing and installation processes required to make a successful connection of the IMP to the building envelope.
• Communicates and reports observations and maintain records.
• Working with peers and supporting management in a way that leads to a culture of best outcome for NIPG
• Support the goals of Nucor.
• Demonstrate courteous and professional business etiquette.
• Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs to heights of 100ft or more.
• Ability to work at heights for long hours and be comfortable walking on roofs.
• Must be located in one of the following states Washington, Idaho, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness and means to travel 60% of the time.
• Previous hands-on field experience with IMP installation (2yr. min.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in D365
