Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Field Services Team Leader in Savannah, GA to supervise a team of field technicians and manage scheduling, staffing, and safety for construction materials testing projects.

The role focuses on safe, accurate field work, coordinating field activities, reviewing reports, and supporting project delivery while upholding ECS core values and delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Maintain basic certifications and any advanced certifications necessary for ECS work
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of construction materials testing principles
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Occasionally lift up to 85 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of field testing technicians
• Manage day-to-day field operations, scheduling and resource allocation
• Ensure staffing with trained technicians
• Promote safety policies and proper PPE use
• Manage field equipment calibration, maintenance, and inventory
• Communicate daily with technicians, project managers, and contractors
• Support recruiting and staffing to maintain team levels
• Review field reports for quality, accuracy and timeliness
• Perform field testing, observation, and inspection as needed
• Support project managers and department leadership with project execution
• Participate in project meetings and client interactions
• Support business development and client relationships
• May manage construction materials testing projects
• Perform other leadership, operational, and technical duties as assigned
