Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Field Services Representative in Washington, DC to support energy-efficient building solutions and project delivery.

You will coordinate system tests, manage documentation, and support commissioning and building operations in collaboration with client teams. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in construction management/administration, knowledge of test and balance, and a solid grasp of electrical and life-safety systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction management/administration or related field.
• Knowledge of test and balance, controls, and design codes.
• Experience with MEPP coordination and life safety systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in field environments.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam is preferred.

Here's Why We Need You

In this role, you will carry out activities related to project construction and contract administration including developing and coordinating system test procedures, organizing user training sessions, administering functional performance tests, conducting field observations, attending progress meetings, and assisting in document control.

Expertise Of Our Most Successful Field Services Representative

• 10+ years of hands on experience in construction management/administration, commissioning, facilities management/operation, mechanical contracting or MEP coordination.
• Knowledge of test and balance, and controls is required.
• Knowledge of electrical and life safety systems is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Full understanding of applicable design codes, design standards and specification requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of construction and general knowledge of operations/maintenance methods.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam and other construction-based software.
• Valid state driver's license for job site travel.
