Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) invites you to join a collaborative team in Chapel Hill as a Commissioning Engineer Intern.

You will gain hands-on experience by testing installations, supporting energy-efficient building solutions, and learning from seasoned professionals on meaningful projects. The position targets Mechanical or Architectural Engineering students who have completed at least three years of coursework, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5, and show leadership through student

• Completed 3 years of coursework or have a junior standing.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in commissioning activities and testing building installations to support energy-efficient solutions.
• Learn from experienced engineers through exposure to high-impact projects across disciplines.
