Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing electrical maintenance shutdowns/turnarounds or switchgear commissioning.
• Experience with high, medium and low voltage systems; familiar with 500kV class equipment.
• Experience with pre-planning, estimating and quoting jobs; ability to produce accurate field reports.
• NETA certification is a plus, OSHA 30/First Aid/CPR is desirable and trainable by Shermco.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical services projects including inspection, testing, troubleshooting and data collection for voltages up to 500kV.
• Spend ~50% of time in the field working with crews and customers.
• Lead pre-planning, site walkthroughs and collaborate with sales on estimates and quotes.
• Assign tasks to crew members and interface with customers for updates and issue resolution.
• Monitor budgets by tracking time and material costs; conduct final walk-through with customers.
