Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Services Specialist – Commissioning to manage field service activities, testing, calibration, and documentation on customer sites. You will work within predefined contracts, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure successful commissioning and maintenance of equipment.

The role requires travel and hands-on field work, with responsibilities spanning testing, reporting, and process implementation. A background in field maintenance and engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of field maintenance experience.
• Experience in Low Voltage electrical troubleshooting.
• Exposure to general networking practices/architectures.
• Willingness to travel 65-80% of the time by vehicle or air travel, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate equipment, facility, or plant per design objectives or specifications for operational use.
• Communicate findings and recommendations via reports and verbal discussions.
• Maintain calibration of specialized tools.
• Follow standardized project processes and guidelines for actions.
• Relaying and implementing processes updated by other functions.
• Work under predefined contracts and frameworks.
