Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Services Specialist – Commissioning to own field service activities, perform testing and validation of equipment, and ensure adherence to design objectives. This role requires substantial travel and hands-on maintenance on customer sites.

We value experience in low voltage troubleshooting, networking basics, and proficiency with MS Office. A high school diploma with field experience is required, with a preference for an Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of field maintenance experience.
• Experience with low voltage electrical troubleshooting.
• Exposure to general networking practices/architectures.
• Able to travel 65-80% depending on location (vehicle and air).
• Computer literacy including MS Office suite and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Handle testing and validation of equipment, facility, or plant per design objectives or specifications.
• Communicate findings and recommendations via reports and verbal briefings.
• Maintain calibration of specialized tools.
• Follow standardized project processes and guidelines for action selection.
• Relay and implement processes updated by other functions.
• Work based on predefined contracts and frameworks.
