Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Services Specialist – Commissioning to own field service activities on customer sites, coordinating resources and logistics to perform testing, maintenance and refurbishing tasks. The role requires a high school diploma with 4+ years in industrial field maintenance, LV electrical troubleshooting, networking basics, and a willingness to travel 65-80% by vehicle or air.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of field maintenance experience.
• Experience in Low Voltage electrical troubleshooting.
• Exposure to general networking practices/architectures.
• Willingness to travel 65–80% by vehicle or air travel depending on location.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Handle all activities related to testing and validation of equipment, facility, or plant in accordance with the design objectives or specifications for operational use.
• Communicate findings and recommendations via reports and verbal communication.
• Maintain calibration of specialized tools.
• Handle standardized project processes and guidelines for choosing the right actions.
• Relaying and implementing the processes and procedures that are frequently updated by other functions
• Working on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks
