What You Can Expect

The Field Service Engineering Tech (FSET) provides onsite and remote technical support for Zimmer Biomet Surgical Devices within their assigned regions. Responsibilities include handling, maintaining, installing, troubleshooting, and supporting devices, as well as participating in complaint investigations and troubleshooting in operating rooms. The FSET plays a vital role in the device lifecycle management.

Location Requirement

Candidates must be based in the Bay Area or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Travel to sites for installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and repairs.
2. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance at customer sites.
3. Assess technical issues and determine solutions or escalate as needed.
4. Act as a liaison with customers regarding product performance.
5. Utilize critical thinking to assess device performance and risks.
6. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and maintain professionalism.
7. Provide feedback for product improvements.
8. Manage service equipment and documentation.
9. Support product demonstrations and educational initiatives.
