Job summary

BMS Performance Ireland is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and repair advanced testing systems across the Southeast region. You will travel extensively to customer sites and provide on-site technical support and training.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Producing calibration reports and documentation.
  • Troubleshooting complex technical equipment.
  • Supporting quality and compliance requirements.
  • Managing customer relationships throughout the territory.

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading supplier of advanced testing and measurement equipment used by manufacturers, laboratories and research organisations worldwide.

With continued investment and growth across North America, they are expanding their engineering team and are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers throughout the Southeast region.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will install, service, calibrate and repair advanced testing systems while supporting customers with technical expertise and training.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Calibration and preventative maintenance
  • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding
  • Customer training and support
  • Producing calibration reports and documentation
  • Troubleshooting complex technical equipment
  • Supporting quality and compliance requirements
  • Managing customer relationships throughout the territory
  • Extensive travel across the assigned region
THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within field service, industrial maintenance, automation, testing equipment, instrumentation or manufacturing environments. However, we are also open to candidates from similar technical backgrounds with strong electro-mechanical skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical experience
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience within a technical service environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Authorization to work in the United States
THE PACKAGE:
  • Bonus: Up to $5,000 annually
LOCATION:

Ideally based in Kennesaw but open to candidates located within approximately two hours including Atlanta, Marietta, Alpharetta, Roswell, Gainesville, Rome, Newnan, Athens, Macon and Chattanooga, Tennessee.
