Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of hands-on desktop support or systems engineering in enterprise environments.
  • Strong proficiency with workstation operating systems, endpoint configuration, user profile management and desktop application support.
  • Experience with enterprise endpoint management platforms for software distribution, patch management, inventory and policy enforcement.
  • Knowledge of security fundamentals including endpoint protection tools and encryption policies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced onsite desktop support by diagnosing and resolving hardware and OS incidents to maintain high endpoint availability.
  • Coordinate remote troubleshooting sessions using secure enterprise tools to address software issues and configuration conflicts.
  • Implement standardized desktop images and configurations to ensure consistent performance and security compliance.
  • Administer endpoint management platforms to deploy software packages, patches, and configuration updates with minimal disruption.
  • Monitor desktop environment health through dashboards and logs to identify trends and suggest preventive improvements.
  • Collaborate with service desk to handle ticket escalations and provide detailed guidance for faster resolutions.
  • Document desktop procedures and knowledge articles to support continuous improvement and reduce repeat incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose sustainable remediation actions.
  • Coordinate with network and application teams to ensure endpoint configurations support connectivity, security and performance.
  • Execute asset management tasks including workstation lifecycle tracking and software license verification.
  • Support security initiatives by applying endpoint security controls and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Engage with business users to understand desktop usage patterns and recommend configuration optimizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities by evaluating new desktop tools, frameworks, and automation opportunities that streamline support processes and reduce manual effort.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline, with a strong focus on infrastructure and systems support.
  • 8 10 years of hands‑on experience in desktop support or systems engineering within enterprise environments, including exposure to complex incident handling and escalation processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in workstation operating systems, endpoint configuration, user profile management and desktop application support, with emphasis on reliability and usability.
  • Applied experience with enterprise endpoint management platforms for software distribution, patch management, inventory and policy enforcement across large user bases.
  • Practical knowledge of security fundamentals, including endpoint protection tools, encryption policies and compliance practices related to workstation environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation approaches for desktop tasks such as log collection, configuration changes or basic remediation workflows.
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining incident status, remediation steps and preventive recommendations in an accessible manner.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully onsite environment, providing in-person support, managing walk‑up requests and coordinating closely with onsite teams for timely issue resolution.
