Job summary

N Consulting Ltd. is seeking proactive Field Service Engineers (FSE) and Warehouse Engineers to support end-user device lifecycle management in Essen and Berlin, Germany. Responsibilities include device imaging, user enrolment, refurbishment, warranty coordination, and warehouse operations.

The role requires regular travel between client sites and a valid driver's license. German language skills are preferred for on-site communications.

Qualifications

• Experience with desktop support, field services, or device lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Windows device imaging and deployment.
• Knowledge of device refurbishment and asset handling.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Proficiency in German (spoken) is preferred for end-user communication.

Responsibilities

• Image desktops, laptops, and end-user devices per client standards.
• Assist with on-site enrolment and device setup for end users.
• Handle device pickup, refurbishment, and asset management.
• Coordinate warranty repair and replacement with OEMs/vendors.
• Perform secure disk wipes following client procedures.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with users to minimize disruption.
• Support warehouse operations including storage, preparation, and dispatch.
