Base pay range

$31.90/hr - $42.90/hr

Purpose Of Position

The Field Service Training Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling, organizing, and managing the needs of the Field Service Training program. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the development of technicians’ skills.

Additionally, this role also involves coordinating accommodations for trainees, ensuring that all apartment units are fully prepared and thoroughly cleaned before each training session.

Essential Functions

  • Support the onboarding process for new field service employees by coordinating necessary materials, documentation, and communications to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Manage the preparation, tracking, and distribution of technical toolkits and supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring equipment is in optimal condition.
  • Assist in arranging travel, lodging, and transportation for employees attending training. Work with third-party housing providers to secure accommodation and maintain documentation.
  • Develop and maintain organized digital records for new hires, including forms, assessments, certifications, and travel-related documents, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure all Test Reports generated during training are properly closed out.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers, training staff, and support departments to gather, distribute, and track key onboarding and training information.
  • Monitor onboarding and training metrics, maintain spreadsheets, and generate reports to support management in planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement, approval, shipping, and expense reporting procedures to uphold efficiency and consistency in training operations.
  • Travel to IEM field service locations, manufacturing facilities, and job sites as needed to support training initiatives and operational objectives.
  • Perform other duties assigned to support company objectives and operational success.

Education And Experience

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of professional experience in a coordination, planning, or administrative support role, preferably within a technical, field service, or operations environment.
  • Prior experience supporting Field Service teams, or training administration is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required; experience with SharePoint, Teams, and database entry systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including customers, field technicians, training staff, quality control, and sales.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation and respond professionally to inquiries.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and shifting priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
