WesTech Engineering seeks a Field Service Tech 2 to visit job sites across the United States and internationally, performing installation, maintenance, and training on WesTech equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting electrical systems, and providing on-site support to customers.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of related experience, strong welding/ fabrication skills, and the ability to travel 80% of the time.

Qualificações

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Two-year degree in a mechanical trade program, programming or electrical/journeyman, plumbing or related hands-on experience in these trades or skill sets.
• Moderate experience with servicing equipment similar to WesTech equipment.
• Experience in programming (PLC and HMI).
• Completion of a 10-hour OSHA construction.

Responsabilidades

• Startup of various complex equipment and mechanical and control system troubleshooting.
• Support warranty repair and problem resolution.
• Read blueprints, schematics, manuals to determine installation procedures.
• Provide technical advisement for installation per manufacturer specs.
• Inspect quality and function of equipment using checklists.
• Travel approx. 80% of time (90% domestic, 10% international).
• Use electrical and hand tools with precision.
• Train operators/customers and provide safety/maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain OSHA safety compliance and pass pre-employment screenings.
