Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Service Technician to join our Raleigh team. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm, with on-call weekends and evenings.

You will install and educate clients on new equipment and perform routine maintenance. This full-time position offers growth opportunities, competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401(k) match, paid vacations, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Experience in repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Valid Driver's License (CDL not required) and a good driving record
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs
• Remove outdated and unused equipment
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships
• Order parts needed to complete repairs
