Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Norcross, GA is seeking an energetic Service Technician to join our team. This full-time role involves installing and servicing vending and merchandising equipment at client sites within a designated area, educating customers on operation, and ensuring equipment runs smoothly.

You should have solid mechanical and technical aptitude, be able to diagnose and repair faults, lift heavy equipment, and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Experience in repair of vending/merchandising equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers.
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed.
• Immense training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs
• Remove outdated and unused equipment
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships
• Order parts needed to complete repairs
