Job summary

Engineered Corrosion Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers in the Greater Chicago Area. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete equipment start-ups and commissioning while communicating clearly with customers and the Customer Support Manager.

You will travel 75–80% of the time, work with a laptop/tablet for documentation, and log activities in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read drawings and wiring schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Technical training or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs including root cause analysis.
• Complete equipment start-ups and commissioning work.
• Provide on-site, phone, and email troubleshooting support.
• Log service activities in Salesforce and maintain documentation.
• Travel 75–80% with on-call rotation.
