Job summary

APG-Neuros is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites and perform electrical/industrial control work. You will identify issues, implement corrective actions, and document outcomes through field service reports.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in electrical/industrial controls or an associate degree, strong problem solving, and excellent communication. You must be able to travel frequently, including weekends, and provide high-quality service in diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• Must have experience with electrical and industrial controls.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 80%+ and work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Capable of online training and field service reporting.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites as requested by Field Service Manager.
• Carry out work as described in the Service Request and ensure job completion.
• Identify issues on site & propose corrective actions.
• Prepare & submit field service reports before leaving customer sites.
• Support Quality Assurance by providing information about the product on site.
• Trouble shooting electrical systems as required.
• Upload/download VFD/PLC/HMI programs.
• Follow up with customers to pursue aftermarket parts and services opportunities.
• Educate customers on Service Bulletins and trigger Opportunities.
• Organize and execute timely follow-ups from site visits.
• Follow ups on Open Cases with the technical team to trigger Opportunities.
• Hold remote online blower refresher training sessions (chargeable to customers).
• Producing field service lessons learned to share with others to increase efficiency.
