Job summary

Reiser is seeking a Field Service Technician in Spokane, WA to install, maintain, and repair packaging and processing equipment. The role blends travel, hands-on mechanical work, and direct customer interaction to ensure equipment runs at peak performance.

You will participate in the FIRST program, visit facilities across the region, and train customers in preventive maintenance while upholding safety and quality standards. Candidates should reside within 1.5-hour commute of a major airport.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems proficiency.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Food processing or packaging machinery experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Install new packaging and processing machinery and perform routine maintenance and on-site repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Travel 60-80% within an assigned region to visit facilities.
• Train customers in preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Support safety and performance improvements on equipment projects.
