Job summary

Allegheny Surface Technology is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites nationwide, performing hands-on field service and on-site repairs while maintaining high safety and quality standards. You will split time between field assignments and our Lewis Run shop, building skills and earning steady pay.

The role requires a valid driver's license and willingness to travel, with guaranteed downtime and a clear growth path.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet motor vehicle requirements.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to meet customer-specific requirements (safety training, drug testing, background checks, etc.).
• Physical ability to perform confined space attendant duties.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across the country, sometimes on short notice (up to 24 hours).
• Perform field service tasks independently or as part of a team.
• Support loading, unloading, cleaning, and maintenance of field service equipment.
• When not traveling, work in the Lewis Run, PA shop, supporting production and skill development.
