Job summary

Allegheny Surface Technology is seeking dependable Field Service Technicians to support customer sites nationwide. When not traveling, you’ll work from our home base in Lewis Run, PA, with opportunities to grow and develop hands-on skills in a clean, professional shop.

The role emphasizes travel (about 21 days per month) and steady downtime (minimum 8 days off per month), with a clear path for advancement and training integrated into the job.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet motor vehicle requirements.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to perform confined space attendant duties.

Responsibilities

• Work at customer locations, sometimes on short notice (up to 24 hours).
• Perform field service tasks independently or as part of a team.
• Assist with loading, unloading, cleaning, and maintaining field service equipment.
• Communicate job details clearly and professionally with customers and teams.
• Represent AST with a strong safety mindset and customer-first attitude.
