Job summary

RL Controls, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installations, upgrades, and testing of vehicle systems for mass transportation projects. You will install low-voltage wiring, cabling, and network components, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires hands-on field work, ability to travel nationally, and reading technical documentation. A technical degree is preferred and experience with CCTV/IP camera systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field service experience in the mass transit industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on installations, upgrades, and disassembly of vehicle systems.
• Conduct system testing, integration, and troubleshooting as part of project team.
• Complete site surveys and attend site meetings.
• Install and commission wired/wireless low-voltage network solutions.
• Validate network functionality and document results.
• Adhere to OSHA, FRA, and RLC safety standards.
