Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking an on-site technician to install and troubleshoot beverage equipment at customer locations in Thornton, CO.

The role involves a Sunday–Wednesday schedule, starting at 10am and finishing around 8:30pm, with full‑time hours and competitive pay. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on vending and fountain systems, educating customers, and managing equipment and part inventory.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Driver's license and a vehicle required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Lift up to 50 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Ability to kneel, crouch, bend and crawl during repairs.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Refrigeration Certification Type I/Type II required (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and maintain vending, cooling, and fountain equipment.
• Diagnose issues and decide repair or replacement options.
• Educate customers on basic repair and upkeep procedures.
• Schedule service calls to meet customer windows.
• Travel to customer locations and perform required work.
• Replace parts and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Record accurate equipment and customer information after each call.
• Build positive relationships with customer contacts during service calls.
• Unload/load equipment and transport items as needed.

Install and troubleshoot beverage equipment to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing at customer locations safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Install, set up, and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, and/or fountain equipment
• Diagnose equipment issues and use good judgment to determine the best repair or replacement option
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures
• Prioritize and schedule service and preventative maintenance calls to meet customer service windows
• Drive to customer locations, evaluate situations, and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and carpentry)
• Remove old parts and replace with new parts; maintain parts inventory on your service truck
• Collect accurate equipment and customer information and complete documentation after each call (training provided)
• Build positive relationships with customer contacts at service calls through clear communication and follow through
• Unload and reload equipment with products as needed, and transport miscellaneous items (e.g., compressors, recycling)

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling and bending when making repairs, often in low places (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires EPA Section 608 Certification
• Position must be able to pass refrigeration certification Type I/Type II practices (if applicable)
