RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a Field Service Technician in Texas to diagnose and repair GPS, machine control, survey and laser equipment both in the field and on customer sites.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills with working knowledge of electronics; GPS or machine control knowledge is a plus.
• Comfortable diagnosing and repairing field equipment in diverse environments.
• Clear and concise communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and safety-conscious work practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair GPS, machine control, survey and laser equipment in the field or at the customer site.
• Identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Communicate clearly with customers throughout the service process to ensure confidence and satisfaction.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to protect yourself, teammates, and customers.
• Participate in company- and manufacturer-sponsored training to stay current on technology.
• Maintain an organized field truck and tools for the next job.

What You Will Do:

• Fix Technology with Confidence: Diagnose and repair GPS, machine control, survey and laser equipment accurately and promptly in the field or on the customer's site.

What You Will Need:

• Technical & Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills with working knowledge of electronics; experience with GPS or machine control technology is a plus.


• Effective communication abilities: Clear and concise, written or verbal, whether partnering directly with customers or within our team.


• Able to work independently and collaboratively: Work well independently and as part of a team.


• Keen attention to detail: Pay close attention to the specifics.


• Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
