Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. is seeking Field Service Technicians in Texas to diagnose and repair GPS, machine control, survey, and laser equipment in the field or on customer sites. You’ll work with a team that values safety, learning, and exceptional customer service.

Applicants should have a strong mechanical background, troubleshoot skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer experiences. A sign-on bonus may be offered for experienced technicians.

• Strong mechanical background with a drive to serve customers.
• Ability to diagnose and repair GPS, machine control, survey, and laser equipment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair GPS, machine control, survey and laser equipment in the field or at the customer site.
• Identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Communicate clearly with customers throughout the service process to ensure confidence and satisfaction.
• Follow safety guidelines to protect yourself and others.
• Participate in training to stay current on new technology and build skills.
• Keep the field truck and tools organized and ready for the next job.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical skills with electronics knowledge and GPS experience.

What You Will Do:

• Fix Technology with Confidence: Diagnose and repair GPS, machine control, survey and laser equipment accurately and promptly in the field or on the customer’s site.
• Use Your Troubleshooting Skills: Identifyissues,determineroot causes, and implement effective solutions to keep equipment performing at its best.
• Deliver Great Customer Experiences: Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the service process to ensure confidence and satisfaction.
• Prioritize Safety Every Day: Follow safety guidelines and procedures to protect yourself, your teammates, and customers.
• Keep Learning as Technology Evolves: Participatein company- and manufacturer-sponsored training to stay current on emerging technology and build new skills.
• Maintain an Organized Field Truck: Take pride in keeping tools, equipment, and your truck clean, efficient, and ready for the next job.
• Technical&Mechanical Aptitude:Strong mechanical skills with working knowledge of electronics; experience with GPS or machine control technology is a plus.
• Effective communication abilities: Clear and concise, written or verbal, whether partnering directly with customers or within our team.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively: Work well independently and as part of a team.
• Keen attention to detail: Pay close attention to the specifics.
• Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
