Job summary

Aerotek in Spokane Valley, WA is hiring technicians with strong mechanical and electrical experience for long-term, hands-on roles supporting industrial machinery, robotics, and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission industrial machinery and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Read PLC ladder logic for diagnostics.
• Provide on-site customer support and training.
• Complete service documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve issues.
• Travel to customer sites for installations and service (≈75%).

Job description

Are you looking for a long-term career and have a solid work history with good tenure? Aerotek is seeking reliable technicians with strong mechanical and electrical experience to join a growing team.

What You'll Do:

• Install and commission industrial machinery, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, robotics, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues
• Read PLC ladder logic for diagnostics and repairs
• Provide on-site customer support and technical assistance
• Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance
• Complete service documentation and reports
• Work with engineering and support teams to solve technical issues
• Travel to customer sites for installations and service work (approximately 75% travel)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery
• Exposure to robotics and automation systems
• Ability to interpret PLC ladder logic
• Previous field service, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing experience
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to travel frequently
• Stable work history and good tenure preferred
• PLC programming experience is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60320.00 - $60320.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
