Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support customers in the Abilene, TX area. You will install, maintain, and service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, ensuring uptime and customer satisfaction.

The role requires legal work authorization in the US, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel as needed. Training is provided, with a company vehicle for business use.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to specific geographic area (Abilene, TX area)
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements
• PC skills and basic electronic skills
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
• Rotating and weekend shifts
• Flexible shift work with morning/afternoon/evening start times including some holidays
• Carrying and lifting up to 75 lbs without assistance and up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Willing to be trained on and operate small scale scissor lifts

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment like self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
• Perform maintenance, repair, PM work, and system overhauls
