Job summary

ESPEC North America is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. This role provides front-line customer support, troubleshooting and repairing environmental test chambers at customer sites.

You must be able to work independently, travel regionally, and ensure accurate service reporting and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has hands-on refrigeration and electrical experience, on-site service skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required with 2 years of college or trade school preferred.
• Minimum 5 years refrigeration industry experience is preferred.
• Experience brazing/soldering/welding ferrous and non-ferrous materials is required.
• Refrigerant charging and recovery experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs calibration service following ISO/IEC 17025 and maintains data accuracy.
• On-site training for customers on operation, start-up, and maintenance of equipment.
• Repairs and adjusts refrigeration, electrical, and control systems.
• Configures and calibrates controllers and recorders; reads prints/drawings.
