Job summary

Blue Line Solutions, LLC is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install, service, and maintain enforcement hardware across the country. The role involves frequent overnight travel, working in the field and with in-house teams to ensure successful deployment of traffic safety solutions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in electronics or field service, pays close attention to safety standards, and can read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or trade certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics, mechanical assembly, or field service is desired.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable using small hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment.
• Experience with basic networking and hardware configuration is a plus.
• Soldering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and service cameras, brackets, solar panels, and wiring harnesses at customer sites.
• Perform on-site repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency troubleshooting.
• Use test equipment and schematics to diagnose and correct malfunctions.
• Assemble wiring and electrical components per prints and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools.
• Support in-house teams with field prep activities.
• Ensure safety and ISO compliance.
• Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and customers.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
