Job summary

Blue Line Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and maintain enforcement hardware nationwide. The role involves frequent overnight travel, independent field work, and collaboration with engineering teams.

Compensation ranges from $25 to $30 per hour, with a hybrid/remote work arrangement in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in electronics or field service, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or trade certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics, mechanical assembly, or field service.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and service public safety enforcement systems including cameras, brackets, solar panels, and wiring harnesses.
• Perform on-site repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency troubleshooting.
• Use test equipment, hand tools, and schematics to diagnose and correct system malfunctions.
• Assemble wiring and electrical components following prints, specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and equipment.
• Support in-house teams by assisting with assembly and field prep activities.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with ISO and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and occasionally with customers.
• Complete documentation and reports related to service visits and repairs.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, data handling, and field protocols.
