Job summary

Jenoptik, a global photonics group, seeks a Service Technician to provide hands-on and remote technical support for Hommel-Etamic gauging systems. You will install, calibrate, and service equipment across North America and internationally.

The role requires travel up to 90%, strong problem-solving and teamwork, reading blueprints, GD&T, and PLC programming knowledge. Technical diploma preferred; 3–5 years manufacturing experience valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a customer support role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, calibrate, maintain and repair our gauging systems.
• Train customers in operation, programming and maintenance.
• Program and run-off customer-specific applications.
• Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Perform periodic maintenance and calibrations in North America and internationally.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures.
• Complete daily time tracking and reporting.
• Complete daily expense tracking and reporting.
• Work to a budget.
