Job summary

Standley Systems in Oklahoma is seeking a Service Technician to repair and maintain copier, fax, and scanner equipment at customer sites within the stated territory. You will report to the Field Service Manager and travel as needed to service client locations across the region.

The role emphasizes on-site maintenance, refurbishing used equipment, and providing courteous, timely support. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; A+ certification and networking knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or technical school or 3–6 months related experience.
• Basic computer skills are required; networking knowledge is a plus.
• A+ certification preferred; networking certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• On-site repair and maintenance of copier/fax/scanner equipment.
• Refurbish used equipment including cleaning and repair.
• Minimal setup and installation at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot non-printing issues and provide timely support.
• Maintain parts inventory in the vehicle and use diagnostic tools.

Position Profile:

The Standley Systems Service Technician will provide customer service by maintaining, servicing and repairing office equipment at customer locations within their assigned territory. This position will report to the appropriate Field Service Manager for the assigned location.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for on-site repair and maintenance of copier/fax/scanner equipment
• Refurbish used equipment, which includes cleaning and repairing
• Minimal setup and installation at the customer's location
• Troubleshoot non-printing issues
• Provide outstanding support by meeting customer's needs in a courteous and timely manner
• On-site maintenance and repair of copier and multi-functional products in an efficient and cost-effective manner
• Maintain and expand current technical knowledge by attending training classes and meetings
• Maintain proper parts inventory in vehicle
• Use diagnostic tools, service aids, and product schematics to assess and resolve equipment and system failures
• In shop repair and maintenance of internal equipment
• In shop setup and installation for equipment and accessories
• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

• Basic computer skills are required with networking skills a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• A+ certification preferred
• Network certification and or training desirable
• Current valid drivers license & proof of insurance
• Good driving recordHS Diploma

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Mechanical aptitude required
• PC & Microsoft skills

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screen. Standley Systems has federal contracts that require compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, therefore medical marijuana license-holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for the position.
