Job summary

SPATCO is hiring experienced service technicians to support fueling facilities. You will troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units from major brands and service electronic POS systems for convenience stores and service stations.

The role involves install/testing of equipment and communicating complex issues clearly to customers. Expect outdoor work in varying weather, local travel, and a teamwork-focused environment with training opportunities to advance your career in the petroleum

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License and good driving record.
• At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units.
• Hold valid dispenser certification(s).
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather; daily local travel; lifting 50-75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repairs gasoline dispensing units (such as: Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, and Bennett).
• Troubleshoot and repair of electronic POS (Point-of-Sale) Systems (such as: VeriFone, Gilbarco and NCR).
• Install, program and tests new petroleum equipment.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
• Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
• Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in a non-technical manner.
