Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced field service technician to troubleshoot and repair fuel dispensing units and POS systems. You will install, program and test new petroleum equipment and perform preventative maintenance on fueling systems.

You will analyze electrical and mechanical problems, communicate clearly with customers, and travel locally. A valid driver's license and dispenser certifications are required, with 2+ years of hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 2+ years troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining gasoline dispensing units.
• Holder of dispenser certification(s).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather; daily local travel; lift 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic POS systems (VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR).
• Install, program and test new petroleum equipment.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and perform required repairs.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to fueling systems.
• Communicate with customers, explaining technical issues in plain language.
