We are hiring for a Field Service Technician on a Part-Time basis (up to 35 hours/month) to provide routine technical maintenance and service in retail locations within 100 miles of DMA, within the Los Angeles, CA area. Flexible hours.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and replace software/hardware as needed in all assigned locations. Provide detailed accounts of visits to PRN/STRATACACHE HD.
  • Maintain detailed records of each site visit, generate daily/weekly reports.
  • Prioritize and complete all work following established policies and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with site management and associates to leverage problem resolution and compliance support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or college degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience working with consumer electronics and computers, software system aptitude, and networking knowledge. Prior POS troubleshooting experience is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills; reliability and accuracy are essential. Motivated to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with superb organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to climb a 6’ ladder, lift 30lbs, and use basic hand and power tools.
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with store management, help desk agents, and PRN management.
