Job summary

WECO is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our service team. You will travel to customer sites to install, commission, repair, and upgrade equipment, and perform preventive maintenance.

You will also train customer personnel and document all activities to ensure reliability and uptime. Ideal candidates bring a strong mechanical/electrical background, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to travel up to 75% during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EE, EET, EECS or Industrial Electronics degree is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75% during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field service calls at customer sites for installation, commissioning, emergency repair, preventive maintenance, audits, retrofits and training.
• Perform training with customer personnel to ensure understanding of operation and maintenance.
• Perform quality checks on repaired equipment and document results.
• Meet service delivery goals including response time and first-time fix rates.
• Provide technical support to customers via phone and email, including after-hours coverage.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all service activities and communicate with service teams.
