Job summary

Bobcat of Abilene is hiring a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair field equipment with minimal supervision. You will maintain detailed service records, operate shop tools, and interface with customers while adhering to safety, DOT, OSHA, and ISO9001 guidelines.

You will also diagnose with laptops, perform fabrication/welding as needed, and may need a CDL. Travel is required to support factory and industry events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or vocational training/certification.
• 1–3 years experience in the same or similar industry.
• Owns and maintains personal tool inventory.
• Mechanical/technical aptitude and safe work habits.
• Strong electronic diagnostic capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs equipment and components in the field.
• Performs diagnostic inspections as directed.
• Maintains detailed records for time, parts, and purchases.
• Cares for shop tools, equipment and company vehicles.
• Interacts professionally with customers and coworkers daily.
• Meets safety rules and follows DOT, OSHA, ISO9001 guidelines.
