Job summary

Bobcat of Houston is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform in-field repairs and inspections on construction equipment, with a focus on reliability and customer service in the Jersey Village area.

The role requires 3–5 years of field service experience, tools on hand, ability to work independently, and a teamwork mindset. Spanish is valued. The company offers competitive pay, PTO after 60 days, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of field service experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
• Teamwork and cooperation with parts personnel and other technicians.
• Spanish speaking is valued.
• Technical school certificate or equivalent repairs training preferred.
• Prior field service experience preferred; tool inventory required.
• Clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to determine causes of failures following guidelines.
• Repair equipment components in the field with high quality.
• Recondition and repair equipment and components.
• Plan methods and sequence of repairs.
• Pre-order parts and materials required for repairs.
• Perform repairs safely and effectively.
• Ensure repairs meet standards for cosmetics and function.
• Maintain clean, safe work area.
• Keep time, parts, and purchases records up to date.
• Ensure all records are legible and compliant with methods.
• Submit daily field records even if not returning daily.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Present a professional appearance and wear PPE as required.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers with respect and integrity.
