Job summary

Acorn Stairlifts, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and repair stairlift equipment in the Norwalk, California area. The technician will visit customer sites, diagnose issues, and provide on-site technical support to ensure optimal operation of stairlift products.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Training is provided; a background in electrical, mechanical, or home-improvement fields is

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Ability to follow established service procedures and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends as needed.
• Experience or familiarity with stairs, HVAC, or home-improvement contexts is a plus.

Acorn Stairlifts, Inc. is an international company with offices in the United States. We design, manufacture, sell, and install stairlifts. Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking skilled and highly motivated Service Technicians who will act as the face of our company for your local market.The individual will perform service, repair and/or installation of stairlift products. Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of equipment. Diagnoses mechanical , hardware, and system failures, using established procedures.

Cable, Home Improvements, HVAC and Security/Alarm experience a plus.

Interpersonal, Organizational, Problem Solving and Communication skills.

Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the job requirements.

Must regularly lift and /or move up to 100 pounds.

Commits to long hours of work and travel when necessary to reach goals; weekends may be required.

Drivers' license required; prolonged amounts of time operating a vehicle.
