Job summary

Top Tempo Technical is seeking a motivated E-Bus Field Service Mechanic for the Baltimore, MD area. This long-term assignment involves travel to customer sites, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and interaction with clients to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires ownership of a company-vehicle? Not provided; use your own vehicle, bring a laptop/iPad and basic tools, and maintain excellent customer service throughout on-site visits. Overtime possible, Mon-Fri schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with High Voltage electrical systems.
• General knowledge of bus, aviation, automotive and/or vehicle systems.
• Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or other field service work; troubleshooting experience required.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service at customer locations, primarily in the Baltimore, MD area.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on buses and related equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure service quality and safety.

E-Bus Field Service Mechanic

Looking for a motivated E-Bus Field Service Mechanic in the Baltimore, MD area!

This is a long-term assignment with employee benefits.

Be a part of the advancing innovation and sustainable transit solutions in the dynamic transportation industry. This position is a Field Service Mechanic for a transit bus manufacturer that requires strong electrical skills as well as excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing with the customer.

Job Details:

• Requires travel to various customer work sites in the Baltimore, MD area.
• Ideal experience is to have worked on any of the following: buses, trains, autos, trucks, military vehicles, aircraft, agricultural or industrial equipment.
• Must be able to interpret and make decisions on what problems need to be fixed.
• There are three classifications of work: Acceptance, Retrofit and/or Warranty.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with High Voltage electrical systems
• General knowledge of bus, aviation, automotive and/or vehicle systems.
• Hands-on experience in either electrical, mechanical, or other related field service experience; experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

NOTE: A company vehicle will NOT be provided, this job requires you to use your own vehicle. Also, a laptop computer or iPad and basic tools are required for this job.

Job Location: Baltimore, MD *Open to travel

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.*with possible overtime

Pay Rate:$30 - $35 an hour

(Pay is commensurate with skills & experience)
