Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks a union field technician to test, inspect, and maintain high‑voltage equipment across the upper Midwest. You will run HV test sets, commission new installations, and support outages and emergencies while mentoring apprentices and junior techs.

Openings range from Level I to IV, with union benefits and pension. Travel is 50–75%, and relocation is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• NETA certification or progress toward certification.
• Experience with power factor or HV testing preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and maintain switchgear, breakers, transformers and cable.
• Run high-voltage test equipment, including power factor test sets.
• Commission new installations and support outages and emergency calls.
• Lead and mentor apprentices and junior techs (senior levels).
