Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search seeks a union field technician to test, inspect, and maintain electrical power equipment across the upper Midwest. Openings range from Level I to IV with opportunities to lead apprentices and junior technicians.

The role requires NETA certification or electrical experience en route to certification, plus willingness to travel 50–75% and a valid driver’s license. Union benefits and pension support travel duties and on-site work in Minnesota and surrounding states.

Qualifications

• NETA certification or electrical experience toward certification.
• Experience with power factor or HV testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and maintain switchgear, breakers, transformers and cable.
• Run high-voltage test equipment, including power factor test sets.
• Commission new installations and support outages and emergency calls.
• Lead and mentor apprentices and junior techs (senior levels).
