Job summary

Fives Intralogistics is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot advanced machine tools across the United States. This position requires extensive travel, including overnight stays, with Fond du Lac, WI serving as home base for onboarding and training.

The role involves working with mechanical, electrical, and CNC systems, communicating with customers, and documenting service activities. Strong problem-solving and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (AA) or equivalent; two to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and passport for travel as required for business travel.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, service documentation, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, demonstrate, repair, and modify Fives machines and equipment at customer facilities (mechanical, electrical, CNC).
• Follow technical instructions and interpret drawings and service documents.
• Train customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and safety of machines and equipment.
• Maintain safety, quality, and ISO compliance during field service activities.
• Prepare and submit accurate service reports and feedback for product improvement.
