Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician & Mobile Welder specializing in Heavy Equipment & Farm Machinery. The role involves maintaining machinery in optimal condition, performing scheduled maintenance, and communicating equipment needs to ensure smooth operations.

Pay Range

$27-$33 DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, management, and maintenance activities on-site
• Manage plant maintenance tasks such as changing bearings, pulleys, belts, shafts, and assemblies
• Fabricate guards, chutes, patch bins, etc.
• Measure and fabricate with or without prints
• Move and load materials, equipment, parts, and tools
• Track and document work progress
• Identify issues and troubleshoot problems
• Propose and implement solutions
• Update and check field automation systems
• Collaborate with team members and build customer relationships
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience managing technical equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented and self-motivated
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficient with mobile tools and applications
• Welding test to be performed in person
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass pre-employment drug test

Physical & Experience Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in extreme weather conditions
• 3-5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role
• Proficiency with welding techniques such as SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW (plus)
