Bartelt Packaging, A ProMach Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join its team. The technician travels to repair, maintain, and startup Bartelt Packaging equipment, serving as the communication link between customer and company to deliver excellent service.

The role requires technical/associate education, 3+ years in machinery repair, and willingness to travel across the US and internationally. Strong customer service, PLC familiarity, and Windows/MS Office skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Technical, Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in machinery repair.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the US and internationally.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Windows and MS software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Prefer experience in flexible packaging machinery.
• PLC programming experience preferred.
• Familiarity with PLC/PC systems.

Responsabilités

• Install, integrate, repair and troubleshoot flexible machinery of a complex design with high technical skill and independent problem-solving.
• Ensure all inspection, testing, quality and operating specs are met.
• Directs and/or oversees customer's personnel during plant machinery installations and servicing.
• May customize machine programs on-site to meet customer needs.
• Occasionally maintain a 24-hour on-call status and provide technical support.
• Provide factory floor support when not on-site with customers.
• Train customers on operation and service of our machinery.
• Assist customers with aftermarket parts needs in the field.

Bartelt Packaging is looking for a Field Service Technician to join its team who resides in the Milwaukee/Madison/Green Bay area. As Field Service Technician travels to repair, maintain and start-up specified Bartelt Packaging equipment. The Field Service Technician provides a communication link between the customer and the Company to provide excellent customer service.Does this work interest you?

• May provide on-site customizing of machine programs by revising programs to meet the customer needs.
• Occasionally maintain a 24-hour on-call status and provide customer technical telephone support.
• Will provide factory floor support when not providing customer field service support/travel.
• Provide customer training regarding the operation & service of our machinery.
• Assist customers with aftermarket parts needs will in the field.

• Successful candidate must possess knowledge/skills of mechanical principles and be willing to travel extensively within the US and, from time to time, internationally.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus.
• Proficiency in Windows & MS software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to train customer personnel on equipment.
• Prefer experience in flexible packaging material machinery.
• PLC programming experience preferred.
• Familiarity with PLC/PC systems helpful.
