Visionix USA, a leader in vision care innovation, is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) for the greater Pennsylvania area.

Visionix USA is the North American provider of highly automated eye examination and optical technologies including Optovue, Briot, Weco, and Visionix brands. We are part of the Visionix Technology Group, a global innovation leader in the vision care technology market and the pioneer in wavefront technology. Our goal is to help eye care professionals start their practice transformation to promote scalable workflow efficiency and improve the overall patient experience while maintaining clinical best practice standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-field service support to all Visionix products, including Briot-Weco, Optovue, and Visionix.
  • Perform installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, and support for these products.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, documentation, RMA returns, inventory management, and travel expense reimbursements as directed by Service Management.
  • Interact with end users, sales representatives, and others, providing verbal and written support.
  • Maintain accurate problem status data, assess and resolve end-user problems, and replicate reported issues.
  • Manage company property, including inventory, tools, and diagnostic equipment, according to company policies.
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain high standards of communication with customers, sales, service, and management.
Requirements
  • 2-year technical degree, military technical training, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical support or field service; 6 years preferred.
  • Strong technical proficiency, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of optics theory is desirable but not required.
  • Ability to pass advanced training in fine mechanics and optics servicing.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the US by automobile and air.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in various positions, including sitting, standing, bending, and stooping.
